You didn't know that Dave & Sheila Muck have ten Studeys? Neither did they!

NW Chapter News

At the SDC International Meet, our Northwest Newsletter won Senior Third Place in the Bimonthly Print Division. Dave Muck accepted the trophy on behalf of the Chapter and the Editor, Bob Williams. Congratulations, Bob!

Keith & Kathy Reno recently returned from a motorcycle trip to South Bend. They have sent us some pictures from the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Studey dealership in Mena, AR.

Two Vancouver members of our chapter have recently passed on. Unfortunately, their services were at about the same time on Saturday morning, July 10. Read details about Helen Gervais.
To read Curt Bottemiller's obituary at www.columbian.com/obits, you will need to enter 'Bottemiller' in the search box in the middle of their page.

Howdy, Strangers!

Welcome to the Northwest Chapter of the national Studebaker Drivers Club. Our chapter is based in Portland, Oregon, and serves members in northern Oregon and southern Washington. The purpose of our club is to encourage the acquisition, restoration, preservation and maintenance of vehicles which were produced by the Studebaker Corporation.

If you are new to us and you love Studebakers, check out the photos from some of our recent events (below left or at top of page). We are actively seeking new members, and we would welcome your enthusiasm, knowledge, cars, and parts for sale. We can offer you the same, plus just plain fun. Don't have a Studebaker, but might like one? We're the place to come. See you at our next event!

New Tech Notes - Modernizing Our Web Site

This site was originally designed on Netscape 4.7 and Internet Explorer 4. We will be slowly modernizing it. As we update pages, we will be phasing out older technical features and bringing in new ones. You shouldn't notice much difference in the pages. But if you are still using an old browser, you might see some strange things, like overlapping print. Please let us know (skerslake[at]q.com or 360-254-1461) if this is the case. We don't want to exclude you from our site!

We use pop-up windows to display large photos. If you cannot open them, you may need to set your pop-up blocker to accept pop-ups from this site.

Our web manager, Susan Kerslake, can be reached at skerslake [at-sign] q.com (Please substitute the at-sign when emailing.)
