Guests are always welcome at Monthly Member Meetings. They are held at the Oregon Stamp Society building at 4828 NE 33rd Avenue, between Prescott and Alberta Streets in Portland, on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:30 pm. The building is open at 7:00, so you can come early to socialize. Please remember that the fourth Wednesday of the month is not necessarily the last Wednesday.
Please also remember that we must clean up after ourselves after each Monthly Member Meeting. If we leave too many cookie crumbs on the carpet, we stand a chance of losing our inexpensive meeting hall. Please pitch in and help! Let's not continue to leave the job to the same dedicated people, month after month. Thank you.
The deadline for submissions to our printed Northwest Newsletter is the tenth of each even-numbered month. The Northwest Newsletter is mailed to paid members shortly thereafter.
On Sunday, November 16, we had our Calendar Planning Meeting for 2009. Below are the initial results. Many of the events are not yet confirmed, and dates could be changed. As information comes in, this calendar will be fleshed out. Also, if anyone finds an error on this calendar, please let me know at skerslake [at] q.com. Thank you.
Please note that we do not have regular Monthly Member Meetings during the months of November and December, due to conflicts with the holidays. We will start up again in January.
